Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail distributed keys of 30 motorbikes among Directorate General Sports of Punjab and Lahore Division sports officers for the promotion of sports culture at a ceremony organized at National Hockey Stadium on Friday.
Director Sports Yasmeen Akhtar, Director Youth Affairs Rana Nadeem Anjum, Deputy Director Ataur Rahman, Deputy Director Tariq Khanzada, APCA Directorate General of Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Unit President Fiaz Ali and a large number of Tehsil Sports Officers and other officials were also present on this occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail directed the divisional, district and tehsil sports officers to perform their respective duties with more dedication and passion. “Sports Board Punjab has provided all possible facilities to all sports officers and now true sports culture will grow in the province”.
The motorbikes were given to Director Sports Yasmeen Akhtar, Director Youth Affairs Rana Nadeem Anjum, Planning Division Department and other sections for the better execution of their sports affairs.
The other recipients of motorbikes include Deputy Director Attaur Rehman, Tariq Khanzada, District Sports Officer Lahore Tanveer Abbas Shah, Assistant Directors Wasim Asghar, Mubasher Shaheen, Miss Farhat Ehsan, Administrator National Hockey Stadium Abdul Qayyum, Administrator International Tennis Stadium Ghulam Mohiuddin.
Bikes were also distributed to Administrator Punjab Stadium Faisal Hayat Wattoo, PA to DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Naeem, Tehsil Sports Officers Nasir Malik and others. All the sports officers have thanked DG Sports Punjab Dr. Asif Tufail for taking this great measure for the promotion of sports across the province.
