Youth Affairs and Sports Department Punjab will organize a seminar in connection with World Obesity Day at SBP E-Library and Youth Centre Nishtar Park Sports Complex on March 4, Monday at 12.30pm.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Raja Jahangir Anwar and Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail will be guests of honour on this occasion.
Director Youth Affairs Rana Nadeem Anjum in a statement said that top health experts and representatives of youth will participate in the seminar. "All the arrangements have been completed for organizing the seminar in a befitting manner," he added.
He said that the health experts will highlight the negative effects of obesity especially for a sports figure. "A large number of sports personalities and students from different colleges and universities will attend the important seminar".
