Expert trainers continued to impart valuable training on the second day of Level-1 Batch-III Coaching Certification Course at Institute of Sports Sciences Punjab (ISSP) on Tuesday.
More than 30 coaches, including sports teachers, divisional and provincial coaches and club trainers and coaches are attending the 5-day course being conducted on the directions of Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail.
ISSP Principal Chand Parveen and Chief Instructor Hafeez Bhatti, Instructor Shaista Qaiser and Malik Nasir were also present on this occasion.
On the second day, master trainer Aqib Mehmood, health expert Dr Naseebullah Khan, nutrition expert Sara Farooqi and expert trainer Faisal Abid delivered the insightful lectures.
Master trainers Aqib Mehmood and Dr Naseebullah Khan threw light on fundamentals of Human Anatomy and Kinesiology, Cardiovascular and Respiratory System while nutrition expert Sara Farooqi delivered her lecture on the topic of fundamentals of Nutrition and Performance.
Expert trainer Faisal Abid conducted a practical session about designing training programmes at Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall. He also taught the participating coaches about hands-on practical training and real world case studies, exercise prescription, key concepts and components of exercise.
The participating coaches also asked various questions at the end of lecture to clear their concepts and confusions during the question-answer session.
