Rising Punjab Games 3rd phase table tennis and athletics competitions get underway at NPSC sports venues

The Rising Punjab Games 2024 3rd phase table tennis and athletics competitions started at Nishtar Park Sports Complex (NPSC) sports venues under the auspices of Sports Board Punjab (SBP) on Tuesday.
It is worth mentioning that Rising Punjab Games sports competition is the first event under Sports Board Punjab’s Annual Sports Calendar Programme.
Rising Punjab Games 2024 table tennis competitions were organized at NPSC Gymnasium Hall while athletics events are being staged at Punjab Stadium and SBP Velodrome.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail welcomed all the divisional teams of Punjab. “The Rising Punjab Games has provided a great opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills. The promotion of sports is our mission”.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail said that Sports Board Punjab is taking all possible measures for the development of sports across the province. “We are quite upbeat that several talented players will emerge from this platform and these players will serve the national team in future”.
In Rising Punjab Games 400m girls’ race, Rawalpindi’s Sunaina got first position with the time of 1.01.00 while Faisalabad’s Rida clinched runners up spot with 1.02.04 timing followed by Musarrat Saheen of Sargodha, who covered her distance in 1.04.19.
