A girls’ team of Okara cricket club ‘Impact wala’ arrived on foot from Okara to Lahore on Friday evening.
The team of Okara cricket club called on Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail at his office at National Hockey Stadium for registration of their club. DG Sports Punjab Dr. Asif Tufail paid tribute to girls cricketers and lauded their spirit.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail ordered the officers concerned to register club immediately and provide them all possible sports facilities.
Talking to players of ‘Impact wala’ cricket club, Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail said that promotion of sports is our mission. “Our all male and female players have a lot of sports talent,” he added.

The ‘Impact wala’ girls team consisted of 10 girls and 9 boys. Coach Rana M Imran, Coach Abdul Rahman Official Ahmed, Captain Sehra Rehman, players Alisha, Anshra, Munahil Arzu and Sabeeha etc were the part of delegation.
