The Level-1 Coaching Certification Course concluded at Institute of Sports Sciences Punjab (ISSP) at Punjab Stadium on Saturday.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of 6-day Level-1 Coaching Certification Course held under the auspices of Sports and Youth Affairs Department Punjab. He distributed certificates among all the participating coaches on this occasion.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail congratulated all the coaches for completing Level-1 Coaching Certification Course successfully. He also appreciated the ISSP team for organizing valuable courses and imparting modern techniques to participating coaches through qualified master trainers.
Talking on this occasion, Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail said that these courses will play a key role in improving the standards of sports across the province. “Ultimately, the participating coaches will transform their modern techniques and skills to young players in their respective areas which could be a major factor in improving the overall sports standards of the province”.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail informed that the successful coaches will be invited to take part in Level-II Coaching Course in the next phase.
As many as 35 coaches including a blind coach from Multan M Jamal also participated in the course conducted on the directions of Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail.
Principal ISSP Chand Parveen and Chief Instructor Hafeez Bhatti, Instructors Shaista Qaiser, Sajid Ali, Malik Nasir, Master trainers Dr Naseebullah Khan and Shafiq Bhatti were also present at the closing ceremony.
