The football teams of Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad and Bahawalpur reached the semifinal stage after winning their respective quarter-final matches in Rising Punjab Games Football event at Punjab Stadium and Velodrome ground on Thursday.
The first semifinal will be played between Faisalabad and Bahawalpur teams while Lahore and Sargodha will lock horns in the second semifinal clash at Punjab Stadium on Friday, January 26, 2024.
The competitions of Rising Punjab Games Badminton Championship were held at the Nishtar Park Sports Complex (NPSC) Gymnasium Hall.
Lahore thrashed Sargodha 2-1 and Faisalabad defeated Bahawalpur by 2-0 in Women’s Team Event semifinal matches. On the Men's side, Rawalpindi stunned Lahore by 2-0 and Faisalabad toppled Sahiwal by the same margin in the Men's Team Event semifinals.
