6-day Level-1 Coaching Course concludes

The 6-day Level-1 Coaching Course concluded with a closing ceremony here at Institute of Sports Sciences Punjab (ISSP), Punjab Stadium on Saturday.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail was the chief guest at the closing ceremony where he distributed certificates among the participating coaches. All the participating coaches also had group photographs with the chief guest. ISSP Principal Chand Parveen, Chief Instructor Hafeez Bhatti, and Instructors Shaista Qaiser, Sajid Ali, Malik Nasir and master trainer Dr Naseebullah Khan were also present on this occasion.
It is worth-mentioning that the Sports and Youth Affairs Department Punjab conducted a high-profile coaching course on the directions of Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail in which 35 public and private coaches including four females belonging to various sports federations and associations participated.
Addressing the concluding ceremony, Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail congratulated all the coaches for completing the high-profile course successfully.
He said that all the coaches should pass on the valuable knowledge and expertise they learned during the training course to their players and junior coaches as well. “Now it is your responsibility to train and produce the young athletes as per international standards so that they can earn laurels in international sports competitions,” he added.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail further said that all the participating coaches of the province should conduct competitive matches among the players to improve their match fitness and remove their weaknesses in playing techniques. “We will continue to equip our coaches and trainers with modern training through qualified and master trainers”.
All the participating coaches thanked Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail for holding such a valuable training course. “This kind of course will have a great impact on the future of sports in the Punjab province,” they added.
