Taking a revolutionary initiative, Sports and Youth Affairs Department Punjab has established Punjab Institute of Sports Science for the international standard training of coaches and players of the province.
In this regard, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Shahid Zaman has issued a notification on Wednesday.
Deputy Director Chand Parveen will be the Principal in Punjab Institute of Sports Science, M Hafeez Bhatti will be the chief instructor while Shaista Qaiser and Sajid Ali will be the instructors in Punjab Institute of Sports Science.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail in a statement on Wednesday said that Punjab Institute of Sports Science has been established to train coaches and players according to international standards."The coaches and players of all games will be trained according to the international rules".
Director General Sports Punjab Dr. Asif Tufail said that Punjab Institute of Sports Science will play an important role for the development of sports across the province. "International Master Trainers will also be invited at Punjab Institute of Sports Science for imparting world class training to our coaches and players," he elaborated.
