Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail has congratulated Pakistan women cricket team for winning historic T20 series against strong New Zealand women team in the T20 International series in their own grounds. Pakistan women cricket team thrashed their opponent team in second T20 International match by 10 runs and took an unassailable lead in the 3-match T20 International series. In his greeting message on Tuesday, Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail said the Pakistan women cricket team proved their supremacy in all departments of the game and won their first ever T20 series against the strong New Zealand women cricket team. Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail said that the national women cricket squad and team management deserved huge appreciation for their magnificent performance. He praised the match winning performances of Aliya Riaz, Muneeba Ali and Fatima Sana. Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail expressed his hope that Pakistan women cricket team will continue the sequence of magnificent performance in the 3 rd T20 match of the series and subsequent ODI rubber against the same rivals.
