Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz said that promotion of sports in schools is need of the hour and there is no doubt that fresh sports talent emerged from schools and colleges, he expressed these views while talking at the Annual Sports Day of private schools as Chief Guest on Thursday.
Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz was warmly received upon reaching the schools. The students presented wonderful aerobics performances in the PT show. On the annual sports day of schools, children presented beautiful anthems and balloons were also released in the air. The students and teachers also had group photographs with the chief guest. Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz said that Sports Department Punjab is taking effective steps for the development of sports in the educational institutions of the province. “We are also organizing Inter-Division sports competitions under the U-16 talent hunt programme and a large number of school children are also participating in these events,” Wahab Riaz added.
