Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Shahid Zaman and Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail inspect progress of Sports Board Punjab’s first ever Sports Medicine Centre

ecretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Shahid Zaman and Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail inspected the progress of Sports Board Punjab’s first ever Sports Medicine Centre at National Hockey Stadium on Friday.
Deputy Secretary Sports Nabila Irfan, Project Director PMU Qaiser Raza and other officials were also present on this occasion.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail while giving a detailed briefing said this Sports Medicine Centre will be the first of its kind in the history of the country. “Definitely, it will be a great facility for all players and sports persons. Renowned health experts and other medical officers will be there for quality treatment of all athletes who got injuries before, during and after sports competitions,” he added.
Meanwhile, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Shahid Zaman and Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail also visited the National Hockey Stadium on Friday.
They visited various parts of the newly renovated stadium and directed the officials concerned to maintain top class cleanliness in the grand hockey venue.
