Three-day online training workshop for coaches starts under the direction of Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail

A three-day online training workshop for coaches has started  under the direction of Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail at the National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.   
All coaches of Sports Board Punjab, Directorate General Sports Punjab and Punjab Olympic Associations are participating in the online training workshop being organised to increase and polish the skills of all coaches of the province. Deputy Director Sports Chand Parveen was also present on this occasion.
While delivering lecture, expert trainer of FIH Academy Zahid Ali told the coaches about modern methods of coaching, what is the philosophy of coaching and what is the responsibility of coaches, how event management is done, how to cope with injuries. He also informed the participants about the modern rules of games and modern techniques of coaching in the online training session. There was also a question and answer session in which the participating coaches asked various queries to enhance their knowledge.
The online training workshop will continue from October 17 to 19. On the second day of the online training workshop, Assistant Professor of Orthopedics at Jinnah Hospital Dr Amir Sohail and FIH Academy expert trainer Zahid Ali will give training. Deputy Director Chand Perveen is performing as coordinator for the smooth holding of the online training workshop.
