Youth Affairs and Sports Department Punjab organises a training workshop on Nurturing an Entrepreneurial Mindset and Exploring Freelancing Opportunities

Youth Affairs and Sports Department Punjab in collaboration with Arfa Karim Technology organised a training workshop on Nurturing an Entrepreneurial Mindset and Exploring Freelancing Opportunities on the eve of World Literacy Day at NPSC E-Library on Friday.
Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz was the chief guest on this occasion. Director Youth Affairs Syed Umair Hassan, Assistant Director Youth Affairs Nazish Noor, Assistant Director M Sajid, CEO Arfa Karim Foundation Ms Tabinda Usman, freelancing expert Shahid Ali and a large number of male and female students from various colleges and universities were also present on this occasion.
Addressing the training workshop, Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz said that young people are the icon of the nation. “Our youth are quite talented and they have to play a key role in the progress of the country”.
He said that it is the right time for us to make collective efforts for the bright future of the country and we should benefit from each other's experiences. “Freelancing is helping a lot in providing plenty of job opportunities to talented youth of the country”.
Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz further said that Punjab E-Rozgar Programme is providing multiple business opportunities to potential youth. “We need to enhance awareness among our youth about freelancing and its benefits”.
CEO Arfa Karim Foundation Ms Tabinda Islam and freelancing expert Shahid Ali gave training lectures to the students.
Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz distributed certificates among the participants of the workshop. Tabinda Usman presented a souvenir to Sports Adviser Punjab Wahab Riaz. Later, a question/answer session was arranged to enhance the knowledge of the participants of the workshop.
