Pakistan's fastest athlete Shajar Abbas called on Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz at National Hockey Stadium on Friday.
Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz said that effective steps will be taken for training and nutrition of Shajar Abbas for the preparation of Asian Games. “Shajar is the fastest athlete of the country and he is expected to perform well in the upcoming Asian Games,” he added.
Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz on this occasion also announced to organize a competition of fastest athlete of Pakistan in near future. “This competition will be conducted to find the fastest sprinter in the country. All the male and female athletes of the province will be able to participate in district and provincial level competitions”.
Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz said that Shajar will be the icon athlete of the fastest athlete competition. “Pakistan has plenty of sports talent in all games and we are taking all possible measures to nurture this valuable talent”.
