Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz along with DC Lahore Rafia Haider visit Sports Board Punjab’s 15-day tennis camp at the state-of-the-art Tennis Courts

Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz along with Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider visited Sports Board Punjab’s 15-day tennis camp at the state-of-the-art Tennis Courts on Thursday.
Pakistan’s world fame tennis star Aisamul Haq and Pakistan number one tennis player Aqeel Khan warmly received Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz upon reaching the venue. Director Youth Affairs Syed Umair Hassan, International tennis coach and fitness trainer Eduardo Vicencio and other officials were also present on this occasion.
Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Sports and Youth Affairs Wahab Riaz also met with the young camp probables and enquired about the training and facilities being provided to them. He distributed tennis kits, bags etc among the players who also had group photos with Sports Adviser Punjab Wahab Riaz, DC Lahore Rafia Haider and Aisamul Haq.
Talking on this occasion, Sports Adviser Punjab Wahab Riaz said that Aisamul Haq International tennis star Aisamul Haq, Aqeel Khan, American coach Eduardo Vicencio are imparting modern training to male and female players in camp in which 16 players from across the country are participating. “Sports Board Punjab has built world-class tennis courts. These tennis courts have all modern facilities that help the players in improving their game”.
Wahab Riaz said that Sports Board Punjab has also organized several tennis tournaments to promote the game and find new talent.
Aisamul Haq on this occasion thanked Sports Board Punjab for extending cooperation for the holding of tennis camp. “It is for the first time in Pakistan that a quality training programme has been introduced. Through this programme, we are bringing junior players forward”.
He said that he has played tennis all over the world and he is teaching the youth what he has learned so that they can become stars in future.
