ITK University of Leipzig Germany Ambassador Miss Nayab Hayat called on Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.
Director Admin Syed Umair Hassan, Director Sports Chand Perveen, Assistant Director Shaista Qaiser, Tehsil Sports Officer Nasir Malik and other officials were also present on this occasion.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi and ITK University of Leipzig Ambassador Miss Nayab Hayat discussed the promotion of sports, training and coaching under exchange programme during their meeting.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi on this occasion said that the contributions of ITK University of Leipzig for the sports development are quite impressive. “The experience of ITK University of Leipzig could prove to be beneficial for Sports Board Punjab and our players and coaches can improve their performance through international training courses,” he added.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi further said that the sports culture will further grow in the Punjab province through the launching of exchange programme. “Sports Board Punjab will also coordinate for conducting international table tennis awareness lecture at our academy,” he stated.
ITK University of Leipzig Ambassador Miss Nayab Hayat on this occasion said that ITK University of Leipzig will extend full cooperation for conducting international training courses. “The international training courses under exchange programme could prove to be very helpful in the growth of sports,” she added.
ITK University of Leipzig Ambassador Miss Nayab Hayat expressed her intent to cooperate with Sports Board Punjab for development of sports among younger generation.
