Extra-curricular activities play an important role in the development of students; this was stated by Vice-Chairman Sports Board Punjab Nadeem Abbas Bara while talking to media on the second day of Annual Sports Day of Dar-e-Arqam School in New Garden Town on Wednesday.

Vice-Chairman Sports Board Punjab Nadeem Abbas Bara, who was Chief Guest on the second day of Annual Sports Day of Dar-e-Arqam School, lauded the school management for organising healthy activity for young students. “School management is giving equal attention to physical and mental health of students which is highly appreciable. Participation in sports activities builds self-esteem in students,” he added.

Leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Ahmad Salman Baloch, Managing Director Dar-e-Arqam School M Yaseen Khan, Director M Arifeen Khan and Sports Secretary Dar-e-Arqam School Jahangir Esar were also present on this occasion.

Vice-Chairman Sports Board Punjab Nadeem Abbas Bara also witnessed tug-of-war, martial arts, fruit race and other competitions on this occasion. He also distributed prizes among the top position holders at the end of the games.
