Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Taimoor Masood said that has said that Punjab govt is going to celebrate Ashra Rehmatulil Alameen (PBUH) with full religious fervor; he said this while addressing a press conference along with Advisor to Chief Minister on Information Omar Sarfraz Cheema at DGPR on Tuesday.

Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Taimoor Masood said that the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab has planned different programmes to celebrate Ashra Rehmatulil Alameen (PBUH) in a befitting manner. “Hundreds of students from various schools, colleges will participate in these programmes,” he informed.

Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Taimoor Masood said that different programmes and ceremonies will be organized under the banner of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab to highlight the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). “Punjab Chief Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi will also attend a Mehfil-e-Samaa. The quiz competitions will be conducted among male and female students of all divisions of the province”.

Revealing more programmes, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Taimoor Masood said that Punjab govt will be organizing numerous milad, naat ceremonies, qirat contests and Seerat conferences in all parts of the province to celebrate the birthday of Holy Prophet (PBUH). “Holy Prophet (PBUH) is an excellent demonstration of truthfulness, balance, justice, coexistence and compassion. He was a torch-bearer and blessing for the entire universe”.

He said that renowned intellectuals will be invited to highlight the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). “The life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a never ending stream of guidance for all humans in all walks of life and the legacy of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) will live on forever”.

Advisor to Chief Minister on Information Omer Sarfraz Cheema on this occasion said that the month of Rabiul Awwal is sacred one for the entire Muslim Ummah. “In this connection several milad, naat ceremonies, qirat contests and Seerat conferences will be organized across the province. Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a role model for every person of this world who believes in Allah and the Day of Judgment”.
