Eighteen-member Sri Lankan contingent arrived in Lahore on Monday to participate in 3rd Savate Championship to be organised under the auspices of Sports and Youth Affairs Department Punjab.
The Sri Lankan squad consists of 9 girls, 4 boy’s players and 5 Officials. Director Sports Nadeem Qaiser and District Sports Officer Tanveer Shah received the Sri Lankan contingent at Lahore Airport. The players were warmly received upon arrival at the airport.
The matches of 3rd Savate Championship will be held on June 30 and July 1 at Nishtar Park Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall in collaboration with Sports Department Punjab.
Sports and Youth Affairs Department Punjab has completed preparations for the Savate Championship matches on the directions of Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Asadullah Faiz. Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Asadullah Faiz will hold an important press conference on Wednesday June 29, regarding the Pak-Sri Lanka 3rd Savate Championship.
