Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Asadullah Faiz presided over an online meeting on Monday. Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan, all Divisional Sports Officers, Project Director PMU and Deputy Director Planning Rauf Bajwa participated in the meeting.
Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan, during the meeting, gave a detailed briefing regarding departmental affairs, sports infrastructure and development sports projects while all Divisional Sports Officers also briefed about the development sports projects of their respective areas.
Addressing the meeting Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Asadullah Faiz said that the promotion of sports and provision of sports facilities are top priorities of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department Punjab. “We are going to expand sports infrastructure across the province”.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Asadullah Faiz said further that the sports culture could not be developed in the province without providing modern sports facilities. He directed the officers concerned to complete the construction work speedily on the under-construction sports projects.
Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan on this occasion said that Sports Board Punjab has taken effective measures for the growth of sports among the young generation of the province. “The sports projects across all parts of the province are being completed on time,” he added.
Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan Sports Board Punjab is also organizing several sports events in different parts of the province to unearth fresh sports talent. “Not only this but we are also taking all possible measures for the welfare and training of male and female sports players”.
