Pakistan Youth Chess Team Qualifying matches were conducted under the supervision of FIDE constituted Organizing Committee in collaboration with Sports Board Punjab and hosted by Chess Association of Punjab.
Winner of each following categories have qualified as official players of Pakistan Team for the Western Asia Youth Chess Championship scheduled to be held in Maldives from 15th to 23rd June 2022.
U-08 Boys: Iyaad Moeed Ahmad
U-08 Girls: Mysha Furqan
U-10 Boys: Issam Bashir
U-10 Girls: Aayat Asmi
U-12 Boys: Daniyal Lukhesar
U-12 Girls: Maliha Ahmaf
U-14 Boys
U-14 Girls: Anastasiia
U-16 Boys: Ijlal Amer
U-16 Girls: Hafsa Qamar
U-18 Boys: Rafaqat Ali
U-18 Girls: Eman
Additional players may also join Team Pakistan on Self Financed Basis. Deadline for documents submission is May 1, 2022 by mid day.
Qualifying Matches were conducted at Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Lahore. Chess Players from all over Pakistan have participated in this Youth Championship.
Sports Board Punjab has been facilitating mind sports under it's new youth policy.
