Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of former District Sports Officer Faisalabad Mujahid Ayub Butt.
In this regard a condolence meeting was held at National Hockey Stadium on Monday. Talking on this occasion, Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan said that late Mujahid Ayub Butt was a dedicated and committed officer. His services for tracing fresh sports talent and promotion of sports will be remembered for a long time.
The participants of the meeting – Director Sports Nadeem Qaiser, Divisional Sports Officer DG Khan Atta ur Rehman, Chief Sports Consultant SBP Hafeez Bhatti, District Sports Officer Lahore Tanveer Shah and Fiaz Ahmed - prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant strength and courage to family members to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
