Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh has condoled with Deputy Director Chand Perveen over the death of her husband Olympian Gulraiz Akhtar, who passed away on Monday.
Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh paid rich tributes to Olympian Gulraiz Akhtar, who was a member of the national hockey team that won the gold medal in the Mexico Olympic Games in 1968. He said that Gulraiz’s great services for the promotion of hockey will be remembered for a long time.
In a condolence message on Monday, Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the members of the bereaved family and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant his family members courage to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
