Sports Board Punjab’s 2-month Summer Swimming Camp launched in Punjab International Swimming Complex

Sports Board Punjab, on the directions of Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, launched a 2-month Summer Swimming Camp in Punjab International Swimming Complex for young swimmers of Under-6 to Under-18 age group on Tuesday. Deputy Secretary Sports Abdus Sattar inaugurated the camp.

Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti, Deputy Director Chand Perveen, Assistant Director Raees ur Rehman, Tehsil Sports Officer Rafi Zaman and Incharge Punjab International Swimming Complex Amir Shah were also present on this occasion. Over 50 young swimmers are taking part in summer swimming camp under the supervision of five coaches.

Talking to media on this occasion, Deputy Secretary Sports Abdus Sattar said Punjab International Swimming Complex is equipped with all international level swimming facilities and the young swimmers will learn swimming quite comfortably here. “Sports Board Punjab is taking useful measures for the promotion of sports culture in the province and as a result of these effective efforts, the passion of sports is flourishing among the young generation,” he added.

In his media talk, Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti said Sports Board Punjab under the leadership of Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, is organizing several sports events and training camps in various cities of the province. “Our potential athletes belonging to different games are fully participating in these events to polish their respective games”.
