First Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Division Hockey Championship will start with a colourful opening ceremony at National Hockey Stadium on January 25, 2021 at 6.00pm.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sports Board Punjab is organizing First Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Division Hockey Championship with the collaboration of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF).
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti will be the chief guest at the grand opening ceremony. Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Fuad Hashim Rabbani and Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, several Olympians, top sports stars and a large number of hockey players will also be present.
The participating teams from all nine divisions will take part in march past during the inaugural ceremony where thrilling cultural performances will also be presented to entertain the viewers.
The players from all nine divisions will participate in the hockey championship scheduled to be played at National Hockey Stadium from January 25 to Feb 7, 2021. The top performers of the championship will be awarded handsome prizes for their outstanding performance.
