Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archeology and Tourism Punjab Ehsan Bhutta presided over an important meeting of Special Education Department and Department of Youth Affairs, Sports, Archeology and Tourism at Punjab Stadium on Monday.
The meeting was convened to formulate a policy regarding provision of sports facilities and arranging historic places study tours for special children. Deputy Secretary Special Education Department Sagheer Shahid, Director Academic Shahzad Bhutta, Deputy Secretary Sports Tasneem Ahmed, Deputy Director Shahid Nizami and other officials of Youth Affairs, Archeology and Tourism also attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archeology and Tourism Punjab Ehsan Bhutta said special children are important part of our society. “Providing all facilities to special children for their welfare is our obligation. In this regard an MoU is being signed between two departments. Under the MoU, free of cost study tours of historic places will be arranged for special children besides holding sports competitions,” he explained.
The MoU signing ceremony will be held at 1.00pm at Punjab Stadium on January 8, 2020. Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archeology and Tourism Punjab Ehsan Bhutta and Secretary Special Education Syed Javed Iqbal Bukhari will sign the MoU in the presence of ministers from both the departments.
