ECO Tourism possibilities and Archeological sites at Soon Valley, Mianwali, Chakwal and Kotli Sattian were discussed during the key meeting
Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Punjab Ehsan Bhutta had an important meeting with Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lt-Gen (retd) Nadeem Ahmed and DG Mohiyuddin Wani at his office on Thursday.
Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, Managing Director Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) Tanveer Jabbar, DG Archeology, Additional Secretary YASAT Iftikhar Ali and Director Admin Javed Chohan also attended the meeting.
ECO Tourism possibilities, clean and green Pakistan, environment friendly tourism and Archeological sites at Soon Valley, Mianwali, Chakwal and Kotli Sattian were discussed during the key meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Punjab Ehsan Bhutta instructed MD TDCP and DG Archeology to prepare concept papers for such projects where there is danger to Environment, Tourism and Archeology.
“These papers will be shared with National Disaster Management Authority for further discussion in one month’s period. A committee comprising of Fawad Hayat (NDMA), focal persons of both Archeology and TDCP and experts was also formulated for further discussion”.
