34th Maple Leaf Cement Pakistan ITF Senior Tennis Championships 2019 concludes Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Punjab Ehsan Bhutta distributes prizes at the concluding ceremony

34th Maple Leaf Cement Pakistan ITF Senior Tennis Championships 2019 concluded at PLTA Tennis Courts, Bagh-e-Jinnah on Friday. Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Punjab Ehsan Bhutta was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony.

Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Punjab Ehsan Bhutta was warmly received upon reaching PLTA Tennis Courts, Bagh-e-Jinnah. He also distributed prizes among the prominent performers of the championship. The participating players also had group photographs with Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Punjab Ehsan Bhutta.

Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA) Chairman Iftikhar Ahmed Rao, PLTA Secretary Rashid Malik, Assistant Director Raeesur Rehman, PLTA Treasurer Rai Zahid, Senior VP Mansoor Warriach and tennis coach from USA Naeem Siddiqui were also present on this occasion.

Talking on this occasion, Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Punjab Ehsan Bhutta said “Our young boys and girls have great passion in tennis and the championship will provide an appropriate opportunity to young boys and girls to demonstrate their tennis skills”.

Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Punjab Ehsan Bhutta further said: “We are also organising First SBP Junior Tennis Championship at State of the Art Tennis Court Nishtar Park Sports Complex from January 7 to 11, 2020. The players of Under-6, U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 and U-18 age group categories will participate in the 5-day grand championship”.

The championship was contested in following categories.

Men’s singles: 35-year, 40, 45, 60, 65 and 70-year.

Men’s doubles: 35-year, 40, 45, 60, 65-year.
