Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh visited Multan’s Nawan Shehr cricket ground on Sunday.
Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh was accompanied by Deputy Director Planning Rauf Bajwa, Divisional Sports Officer Multan Rana Nadeem Anjum, District Sport Officer (DSO) M Jameel Kamran and other officials during his visit. DSO Jameel Kamran gave a thorough briefing about the Nawan Shehr cricket ground. Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh inspected various parts of Nawan Shehr cricket ground and appreciated the maintenance of cricket venue.
Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh directed Deputy Director Planning Rauf Bajwa to upgrade the cricket ground further and make it an impressive cricket venue. “The work of leveling the surface, plantation of new grass, installation of top quality floodlights and renovation work be completed on priority basis so that the youth of Multan can avail top class sports facilities under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar,” he said.
Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh also directed the DSO Multan to pay special attention to youth affairs and conduct training camps for the talented youth of the city besides holding different matches and tournaments.
Deputy Director Planning Rauf Bajwa, Divisional Sports Officer Multan Rana Nadeem Anjum, District Sport Officer (DSO) M Jameel Kamran also visited Multan’s Qasim Bagh Stadium on the directives of Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh.
