E-Rozegar centres will be established across the province: Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti 21 Nov, 2019

Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti presided over an important meeting regarding E-Rozegar Project at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.

Secretary Sports Punjab Nadeem Mehboob, Director General Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Sajid Latif, Director Admin SBP Javed Chohan and other top officials attended the meeting.

Addressing the meeting Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti informed that 30 E-Rozegar centres have been established in the province with the collaboration of Punjab Youth Ministry and Punjab Information Technology Board. “These centres are playing key role for providing job opportunities and launching own business to youth of the province”.

Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti further said that as many as 64,000 youngsters have been given training under E-Rozegar project. “A Mega Free-lancing and Youth Convention will be staged in Lahore in connection with E-Rozegar project”.

Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti said: “E-Rozegar centres will be established across the province. The E-Rozegar centres are ready in Taunsa, DG Khan, and Rahimyar Khan while these centres are under progress in Nankana Sahib, Pakpattan, Jhang, Chakwal, Rajanpur and Bahawalnagar”.

Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti informed that E-Rozegar centres will also be introduced in govt universities and colleges and PITB will provide technical assistance to educational institutions for establishing these centres. “Overall Rs 870 million have been allocated for E-Rozegar project while Rs 180 million have also been allocated in the current year budget for this project”.

Secretary Sports Punjab Nadeem Mehboob, on this occasion said, the talented youth of the province are being given leadership training to launch their own business. “The E-Rozegar project is playing a key role in nourishing the abilities of potential youngsters”.
