Secretary Sports Punjab Nadeem Mehboob denounces the contractor for delaying the construction work of Shah Suleiman Stadium Taunsa
Secretary Sports Punjab Nadeem Mehboob visited Dera Ghazi Khan Cricket Stadium, site for Chief Minister Punjab Cricket Academy, Hockey Stadium DG Khan, under-construction Shah Suleiman Stadium Taunsa and Tehsil Sports Complex Taunsa on Friday.
Secretary Sports Punjab Nadeem Mehboob was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner DG Khan Waqas Rasheed, Deputy Director Planning Rauf Bajwa and Divisional Sports Officer Attaur Rehman during his inspection visit. He also met the newly-hired coaches and trainer for the academy.
Secretary Sports Punjab Nadeem Mehboob denounced the contractor for delaying the construction work of under-construction Shah Suleiman Stadium Taunsa. He issued strict directions to contractor and gave a deadline of December 31, 2019 to complete the remaining construction work of Shah Suleiman Stadium. SBP officers have also been directed to monitor the construction work properly.
Giving the briefing to Secretary Sports Punjab Nadeem Mehboob, DSO Attaur Rehman informed that Chief Minister Punjab Cricket Academy DG Khan has the arrangement of training as many as 60 players. “The academy has started the working on the mission of tracing fresh talent. The grade-2 coaches have also been hired for the training of players at the academy”.
Secretary Sports Punjab Nadeem Mehboob, on this occasion said Punjab govt, under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar, is providing best sports facilities in backward areas of the province.
Secretary Sports Punjab Nadeem Mehboob directed the concerned officers to complete the remaining work on academy as early as possible. “Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar will inaugurate the stadium and academy in coming days”.
