Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti visited the mess of Punjab athletes and checked the standard of food at National Hockey Stadium on Monday night.
Punjab Minister for Sports Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti enquired the players, who are staying at National Hockey Stadium in connection with 33rd National Games camps, about the quality of food and other facilities and in response the camp probables expressed their satisfaction over the standard of food.
Punjab Minister for Sports Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti was accompanied by Deputy Director Shahid Nizami, Assistant Director Raees ur Rehman and other officials during his inspection visit.
Talking on this occasion, Punjab Minister for Sports Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti said several effective measures have been taken for the promotion of sports in the province under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. “I’m quite hopeful that Punjab athletes will show reasonable performance and top the medals table in the 33rd National Games”.
Punjab Minister for Sports Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti directed the concerned officials to provide top quality food and fruit to Punjab camp probables and in this regard no complacency will be tolerated.
