DG Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, conducts anti-dengue measures in Nishtar Park Sports Complex

Sports Board Punjab (SBP) staff, on the directives of Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, sprayed anti-dengue medicine and cleaned various parts of Nishtar Park Sports Complex for the eradication of dengue virus on Thursday.

Assistant Director Nasir Malik, Assistant Director Muhammad Riaz, Sufi Sattar supervised the anti-dengue measures in Nishtar Park Sports Complex. Dozens of SBP workers removed stagnant water and cleaned roads, grounds and different areas in Nishtar Park Sports Complex.

Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, in a statement on Thursday said that it should be top priority for all of us to keep our offices, grounds and vicinity clean and tidy. “Sports Board Punjab is doing effective efforts including spray of anti-dengue medicine in SBP offices, Punjab Stadium, Nishtar Park Sports Gymnasium and National Hockey Stadium on regular basis”.

Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh said that these days, dengue threat has resurfaced in the city and that’s why SBP has accelerated its efforts to eliminate the fatal threat. “Dengue mosquito is a fatal weapon against human health”.

He directed the SBP staff not to allow stagnant water in any area of Nishtar Park Sports Complex. “Sports Board Punjab is taking every possible measure for the eradication of dengue,” he added.
