Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar presided over the Umrah ticket draw ceremony at National Hockey Stadium on Monday. The Umrah ticket draw ceremony was held under the auspices of Directorate General Sports Punjab Union. Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar, who was chief guest on this occasion, listened different issues and demands of lower staff and assured the employees to fulfill their demands in near future. “Sports Board Punjab (SBP) has always looked after its employees and we will continue this tradition in future as well”. DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar said long-serving junior clerks will be promoted before Eid ul Fitr and issues of 4th grade employees will also be addressed shortly. “An important meeting will be called before Eid ul Fitr and the deserving employees will be rewarded accordingly”. DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar also congratulated naib qasid Rashid Ali on winning Umrah ticket. Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti, Deputy Directors Shahid Nizami and Rauf Bajwa, Divisional Sports Officer Lahore Nadeem Qaiser, Assistant Director Raees ur Rehman, APCA Directorate General Sports Punjab Unit President Fayyaz Ali and a large number of Directorate General Sports Punjab employees were also present in the Umrah ticket draw ceremony. Before the Umrah ticket draw ceremony, all the employees and officials offered fateha for Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar’s elder brother Mubashar Sarwar, who passed away on April 30. Divisional Sports Officer Lahore Nadeem Qaiser also addressed the ceremony and expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family.
