Sports Board Punjab (SBP) is committed to strive hard for the growth of sports culture in the province; Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar said this during his inspection visit of various parts of Nishtar Park Sports Complex. DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar was accompanied by Deputy Directors Tariq Wattoo, Rauf Bajwa and Assistant Director Zahoor Ahmed during his visit of archery ground, outer side of Punjab stadium and adjacent areas. DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar directed the concerned officers to maintain the archery field and use the superfluous astro-turf so that our youth can take maximum benefit from these sports facilities. “Punjab archery and hockey players can polish their skills by using these facilities fully,” he added. DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar, on this occasion, said valuable sports facilities such as grass tennis court can be built in the outer area of Punjab Stadium. “We can compete with rest of the world by utilising our sports venues properly”.
