PSL a blessing for young Pak cricketers: DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar

Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar said Pakistan Super League (PSL) has turned out to be one of the most popular and successful cricket leagues in world cricket and dozens of top cricket stars of several countries are featuring in the 4th edition of PSL. In a statement on Thursday, Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar said PSL is definitely a blessing for Pakistan’s young cricketing generation. “PSL provides a suitable platform to young Pakistani cricketers to learn modern techniques and nurture their cricketing talent while playing competitive cricket alongside world’s best players such as AB de Villiers, Darren Sammy, Luke Ronchi, Andre Russell, Wayne Parnell, Colin Munro, Keiron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Dwayne Bravo, Carlos Brathwaire and Corey Anderson etc”. DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar said it’s a matter of proud for the entire nation that Pakistan is organizing international cricket matches consistently during the last couple of years. “West Indies, Sri Lanka, World Cricket XI, Zimbabwe and Kenya cricket teams have toured Pakistan in recent years which is quite encouraging. Pakistan will get plenty of young talented players through the regular holding of Pakistan Super League matches in the country,” he opined. DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar further said Punjab govt has planned to provide best facilities during the PSL matches scheduled to be held at Gaddafi Stadium on March 9, 10 and 12, 2019.
