DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar urged the DSOs to build three cricket turf pitches in the centre of ground for matches. However, the cemented pitches can be built for practice purposes on the sides of grounds. “Professional curators should be hired to prepare standard cricket pitches”. He advised all DSOs to complete the sports projects as early as possible under their own supervision. DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar stressed upon the DSOs that no cricket, football, hockey grounds will be built without proper drainage system. “Every ground must have proper drainage system so that valuable sports facilities could be saved from the harms of rainy water”.
