Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar has said that Sports Board Punjab (SBP) will continue to support games culture in the province; he said this while addressing the prize distribution ceremony of friendly cricket match between Sports Journalists Association of Lahore (SJAL) and Pakistan Media UK cricket teams at Gaddafi Stadium. ICC Elite Panel Umpire Aleem Dar, PCB Director International Cricket Operations Zakir Khan, Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti, Azhar Zaidi, Sardar Naveed Haider were also present on this occasion. SJAL cricket team defeated UK Journalists cricket team by 7 wickets. SJAL President Aqeel Ahmed presented a shield to DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar. DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar, ICC Elite Panel Umpire Aleem Dar and Zakir Khan also distributed prizes among members of both the teams on this occasion. SJAL President Aqeel Ahmed and Secretary Ashraf Ch and other members received DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar upon reaching the stadium. The members of both the teams were introduced with DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar. They also had group photographs with him. SJAL President and Secretary also thanked DG Sports Nadeem Sarwar for extending valuable support for the holding of friendly cricket match between Sports Journalists Association of Lahore (SJAL) and UK Journalists cricket teams.
