Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar inspected sports venues in Karol Ghati, Gaowshala and Iqbal Park. Concerned officials briefed DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar about the status of construction work at Karol Ghati and Gaowshala. DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar was informed that the installation work of floodlights at Gaoshala has been completed largely and the remaining work will completed in near future. DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar directed the concerned staff to complete all sports facilities in the above-mentioned venues without any delay.
DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar said a top standard sports structure is being built in the province. He instructed the staff at Karol Ghati to complete the construction work as early as possible so that inhabitants of this area can take maximum benefit from these modern sports facilities. “The sports projects in the above-mentioned venues are equipped with all modern facilities and the main objective of these sports projects is to find fresh sports talent especially from remote areas,” he added. "Every segment of society has equal right on the sports facilities of the province. “The building of sports facilities in far-flung areas has been one of the key features of Punjab govt’s sports growth mission and insha-Allah we will provide top class sports amenities across the province in near future”.
