Punjab Sports Minister Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti and DG SBP Nadeem Sarwar congratulate national cricket and hockey teams

Punjab Sports Minister Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti and Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar congratulated Pakistan cricket and hockey teams over remarkable performances in United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Muscat respectively.
Pakistan inflicted a 3-0 whitewash on strong opponents Australia in the Twenty20 International series in UAE. This was Pakistan’s 10th straight Twenty20 series triumph. They have not lost since Sarfraz Ahmed became skipper of national cricket team.
On the other hand, Pakistan, along with India were declared joint winners of the Asian Champions Trophy 2018 after a thunderstorm and heavy showers forced the final to be abandoned.
In a joint greeting message Punjab Sports Minister Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti and Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar praised the excellent performance of Imad Wasim, Babar Azam, Hafeez, Hasan Ali, Shadab Khan and Farhan in the 3-match T20 rubber. They expressed the hope that Pakistan cricket and hockey teams will also show encouraging performances in their next international competitions.
