The 4th Women Islamic Women Games held in Tehran (Iran) from 22-28 September, 2005. 1587 athletes in 39 different sports took part in the fourth edition of the Games from 39 Muslim countries.
A 103-member Pakistani contingent participated in 11 events including athletics, badminton, golf, judo, shooting, squash, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo and tennis.
